WHY WE DO IT
At Bateup Consulting we have strong values regarding sustainability and social principles. Our team is passionate and believes in a strong foundation for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). These values have led us to becoming a Carbon Neutral Organisation and led to the foundation of our furniture repurposing initiative GreenChair™.
We are also involved with different professional organisations providing confidence in professional competence and conduct. The following provides details of these values and associations and how they align with the United Nations Global Development Goals.
Becoming a carbon neutral organisation was a key business value and this was achieved through the Climate Active Program. Offsets were achieved through the Tiwi Islands Savannah Burning for Greenhouse Gas Abatement.
GreenChair™ helps businesses to reduce their waste to landfill and provides furniture to NFP’s and Charities. The program helps the property & construction industry reduce their waste created during renovation, relocation and demolition.
